Sustainable and Community Focused Real Estate

IS OUR PASSION

At MBT, we’re on a mission to transform the real estate industry into a force for good by building and strengthening vibrant, inclusive, and equitable communities that are good for people and the planet.

To do this, we harness the power of a proven people-first systems-based methodology to create places of social connection, exemplary environmental standards, and enduring economic value for our investors, clients, and residents.

Our vision is to serve the greater good by developing communities that support a healthier, stronger, and more sustainable future.

Our Development Focus

Development is a transformational process, in which we envision a community improvement, and then realize it through the management of its design, entitlement, financing and construction.

Our goal for each project is to create a replicable model of environmental, social and economic responsibility. Our intention to create plans, buildings, communities and investments that learn from and contribute to the growing body of positive solutions to the challenges of 21st century cities.

Our business strategy is designed to deliver social and environmental impact as well as competitive, risk-adjusted market returns in our asset class. We buy, build, and develop affordable and mixed-income housing and connect each property with health, education, cultural, and social services so that residents can become empowered partners in their communities, improving economic and social outcomes.
